TAILOR

Oxidised brass, Swarovski crystals

This project addresses the decline of the bespoke tailoring trade due to rapid globalisation and commercialisation. The industrial advancement of mass-production methods allows machines to recreate details that were once only achievable through meticulous craftsmanship. On that account, the piece is a tribute in the form of a traditional notch lapel encrusted with geometric crystals that mimic the iconic herringbone twill weave.
