This project explores the detrimental repercussions of leather production, focusing on the medical ailments caused by chromium exposure in leather tanneries. The response to this is an exoskeleton that symbolises a form of protection over the skin, ironically made from the hide that is essentially a seed cause of numerous skin diseases that afflict workers in the industry.
